DELIVERY POLICY

Nursery Rooms ships to UK addresses only. We can not make any exceptions as our business insurance and the terms of our credit card processing agreement do not allow us to trade abroad.

We aim to dispatch your order within 48 hours of receipt and will notify you of any delay.

We will send you an email to confirm that your order has been dispatched.

We aim to update the stock as soon as an item is sold however in the event that you buy an item which has just run out of stock we will notify you with an expected delivery date.

REFUND, REPLACEMENT and CANCELLATION

Unwanted goods - Please return the goods unused in the original packaging in perfect condition for resale within 10 days of receiving them. Please obtain proof of postage from the Post Office, which is free of charge. You will receive a full refund, minus the original post and packing charge, once the goods have been received back at Nursery Rooms. Please note that you are responsible for the cost of returning unwanted goods.

Faulty goods - We will either refund the cost of the item or send you a replacement free of charge providing you contact us within 10 days of receiving the goods. You will be reimbursed for the cost of returning faulty goods. Refunds or replacements will be made once the original goods are received back at Nursery Rooms.

Curtains - Please check the size and design of the curtains carefully before you open the packet. We charge a restocking fee of 20% of the original selling price for curtains which are returned once they have been opened as we can not re sell them as new once they have been unpacked.

Furniture - Please do not send nursery furniture back to Nursery Rooms
You will need to arrange with the supplier of the furniture for them to collect any pieces that you wish to return. Each furniture company has their own specific returns policy. Please follow the instructions on the Direct Shipping Suppliers page. Refunds can only be made once the supplier has received the furniture back at their premises.

CURRENCY OF TRANSACTIONS

Nursery Rooms Limited currently ships to the UK only and all prices and transactions are in sterling/GB pounds.

SECURE PAYMENTS

Nursery Rooms Limited uses the industry leading HSBC secure ePayments system to process our customer's payments. The HSBC online debit and credit card processing solution is an award winner for 'Best Security/Anti-Fraud Development, The Credit Card Awards 2007'.

In the unlikely event that the HSBC system is down we will offer Paypal as an alternative secure method of payment. You can pay using your credit card via the Paypal system even if you do not have a Paypal account set up.

OUT OF STOCK ITEMS

We have a company policy not to take orders for items that are currently out of stock as we are uncomfortable accepting your money when we can not specify a definite timescale for delivery however we are happy to contact you by email or telephone when the item comes back in to stock. If you would like us to do so please email Nursery Rooms, using the address in the blue header section at the top of each page, stating the item that you are interested in and the method you would like us to use when contacting you.

Our shopping cart operates using a stock control system which keeps track of what has been sold and should prevent you from accidentally buying an item which we do not have available to send out to you. Occasionally an order might be accepted for a product that is out of stock, this is very rare but can happen if two customers place an order at exactly the same time for the last one of a particular item. In these circumstances we will contact you and give you the choice of canceling your order or waiting for the item to come back into stock.
