Do you dispatch orders overseas?
Unfortunately not, we only dispatch orders to UK addresses.
We can not make any exceptions as our business insurance and the terms of our credit card processing agreement do not allow us to trade abroad.
Do you have a catalogue?
At the moment I'm afraid we don't have a catalogue. We are looking at producing a downloadable version in the future.
Can I visit your shop?
We are an internet based company and do not have a bricks and mortar shop. If you are interested in buying nursery furniture from us but want to look at it before you do we can contact the supplier on your behalf to ask them if there is a high street shop in your area that sells their furniture.
When I tried to add the item I want to buy to my basket I got a message stating it is out of stock. Can I still place an order for this item?
We have a company policy not to take orders for items that are currently out of stock as we are uncomfortable accepting your money when we can not specify a definite timescale for delivery however we are happy to contact you by email or telephone when the item comes back in to stock. If you would like us to do so please email Nursery Rooms stating the item that you are interested in and the method you would like us to use when contacting you.
I'm not used to internet shopping. Is shopping with Nursery Rooms secure?
We use the industry leading HSBC secure ePayments to process card payments on our behalf. The HSBC online debit and credit card processing solution is an award winner for 'Best Security/Anti-Fraud Development, The Credit Card Awards 2007'.
How do you calculate the delivery charge?
We use a combination of the size of the parcel, it's weight, the packaging used and the region that you live in. We do not use the delivery charge to make profit and in many cases we charge you less than it actually costs us to send your order. The delivery charge is always shown in your shopping cart before you proceed to the checkout.
The exceptions to this rule are the nursery furniture and the moses baskets which are shipped direct from the suppliers and each company specifies their own charge. The amount you are charged is the amount we pay the supplier, we do not profit from you via the delivery charge. For more information click here.
How is my order sent to me?
If you are charged £3.95 or less you parcel is dispatched using Royal Mail.
Orders charged at £4.95 or more are dispatched using Parcel Force via the courier account of our sister company Children's Rooms.
Parcels dispatched to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands and some parts of Scotland are usually sent by Royal Mail.
The exceptions to this rule are the nursery furniture and the moses baskets which are shipped direct from the suppliers using their own courier services.
Why won't my promotional code work?
Promotional discount codes are disabled during Nursery Room's sales because a store wide reduction is applied however if we aren't running a sale and your code doesn't work please contact us and we will look in to it for you.
Are your nursery curtains lined?
The nursery curtains we sell are not lined unless otherwise stated in the product description.
I've bought something as a gift ... do you include the invoice with the order?
If the billing name and address is different to the delivery name and address we send a detailed invoice to the billing address and include a basic delivery note in the parcel which does not show any prices.
The exception to this is the baby gift bags which are sent to the recipient with a gift card rather than a delivery note.
I have a question and I can't find the answer on your web site how do I get an answer?
Please contact us using either our email address or our phone number which can be found in the blue header section at the top of each page.
We aim to answer emails with in 48 hours but in practice you should receive an answer with in one working day.
