What happens when I place an order for an item that is shipped direct from the supplier?
We telephone the supplier to place your order on the following working day then back this up with an email so that we can ensure your details are passed on correctly.
I want to order some cot bedding along with my furniture ... will this be a problem?
If you order items that we have in stock along with items that are shipped direct from the supplier we dispatch the stock we hold in the usual way and the supplier will the dispatch their products separately.
How will the supplier handle my order?
Our suppliers all have slightly different ways in dealing with your order so it's useful to read the information on the Direct Shipping Suppliers page which has details of each individual supplier's policy.
When the supplier contacts me to arrange delivery is there anything I should do?
We recommend that you make a note of a contact name and telephone number in case you need to telephone the supplier to change the delivery date or chase up faults.
How do I know my order has been processed?
The shopping cart automatically sends you an order confirmation when you place your order with Nursery Rooms.
We will send you an invoice through the post which will include the date we placed your order with the supplier.
If the goods are faulty will they be replaced?
Yes ... we do ask that if you buy furniture and pay for delivery only that you unpack it as soon as possible and check all the parts have been supplied and there are no faults. If you are buying your nursery furniture in advance of your baby's birth it's tempting to wait until the baby is imminent to unpack the boxes however this may be several weeks after you have bought the furniture which will make it difficult to replace your item/ refund your payment promptly.

Please check our information for the supplier that you have dealt with as some like you to contact them direct to solve problems and others like you to contact us first.
I need to send the goods back ... when will I get my refund?
The supplier will arrange a date to collect your purchase. Once they have received the goods back at their premises they will issue Nursery Rooms with a refund and we will then immediately issue the refund to you.
